How to Turn Off Bixby on Samsung Phone, Tablet, TV

Here are the steps to turn off Bixby on a Samsung phone, tablet, or TV:

  1. On a Samsung phone or tablet, press the Bixby button (the button with the Bixby logo) or swipe right on the home screen to open Bixby Home.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu button in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Select “Settings” from the menu.
  4. Scroll down and tap on “Bixby key”.
  5. Choose the “Double press to open Bixby” option.
  6. Select “Don’t open anything” to turn off Bixby completely or choose a different app to open instead.
  7. You can also turn off Bixby voice and Bixby Home from the same settings menu by toggling off the switches next to these options.

On a Samsung TV, the steps to turn off Bixby may vary depending on the model. However, in most cases, you can use the TV remote to navigate to the settings menu, select “General”, and then toggle off the Bixby Voice and Bixby Home options.

To disable Bixby on your Samsung TV, follow these steps:

  1. Using your Samsung TV remote, press the “Settings” button.
  2. Navigate to “General” and select it.
  3. Scroll down and select “Voice”.
  4. Under “Voice Recognition”, toggle off the switch next to “Bixby Voice”.
  5. You can also turn off Bixby Home by toggling off the switch next to “Bixby Home” on the same screen.
  6. If your TV remote has a dedicated Bixby button, you can also disable it. Go back to the “General” menu and select “External Device Manager”. Select “Input Device Manager” and then “Device Connection Manager”. From here, you can choose to disable the Bixby button on your remote.

Once you have completed these steps, Bixby should be disabled on your Samsung TV.

To disable Bixby on a Samsung tablet, follow these steps:

  1. Press the Bixby button or swipe right on the home screen to open Bixby Home.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu button in the top right corner of the screen.

  2. Navigate to “General” and select it.
  3. Scroll down and select “Accessibility”.
  4. Select “Voice Recognition”.
  5. Toggle off the switch next to “Voice Recognition”.

Once you have completed these steps, the voice assistant on your Samsung TV should be turned off. Note that the exact steps may vary depending on the model of your TV, but the general process should be similar. If you want to re-enable the voice assistant in the future, simply follow the same steps and toggle the switch back on.
